It’s not a compelling reason to upgrade current television just for the 3D feature, Personally I am still torn between Passive and Active Shutter 3D tech available through LG and Samsung in India.
I would emphasise importance of a connected device in the current gen television range that would let me enjoy web entertainment content on the go.

Personally I can agree to the frustration faced with Samsung in coming out with a clear communication on ICS upgrade for my Phone in India, like many other Galaxy SII and note users.
It’s becoming a double edged sword for mobile manufacturing firms to keep up to expectation on software/firmware feature upgrades by new and current consumer base
